About these terms
My Tour Planners is the trade name of Monika Verma (sole proprietorship). These terms apply to every itinerary we quote and every booking we confirm. By asking us to book a trip you accept them. Read them together with our Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.
What we do
We plan holidays and arrange the hotels, flights, trains, transfers, tours and activities that make them up. Those services are provided by independent hotels, airlines, cruise lines and transport and tour operators. We act as your agent in arranging them, and each supplier’s own conditions apply to the part it provides. We will share those conditions with you on request.
Quotes and prices
Prices are quoted per enquiry and depend on travel dates, hotel category, availability and, for trips abroad, exchange rates. A quote is in Indian rupees unless it says otherwise, is valid only for the dates and inclusions stated in it, and is not held until you confirm. Applicable taxes, including GST where it applies, are shown in your quote or invoice.
Booking and payment
A booking is confirmed when we receive the advance stated in your quote and confirm it to you in writing. A WhatsApp message counts as writing. The balance is due by the date stated in your quote. If it is not paid by then we may cancel the booking, and the cancellation charges apply. We issue a receipt or invoice for payments received.
What is included
Each itinerary lists its inclusions and exclusions. Anything not listed under inclusions is not part of the price.
Changes by you
Tell us as early as you can. Where the hotels, airlines and operators allow it, we change names, dates and services. They may charge for a change, we pass those charges on, and the price may change with them. A change is not confirmed until we confirm it in writing. Cancelling is covered in the Cancellation Policy.
Changes by us
Occasionally a property, route or activity has to be substituted. We will tell you as soon as we know and offer the nearest equivalent. If a change makes the trip clearly worse than what you booked, you can accept the alternative, or cancel the affected part and be refunded what you paid for it.
Travel documents, visas and health
A passport with the validity your destination requires, visas, permits and any vaccinations remain the traveller’s responsibility. We provide guidance, not the documents themselves, and we are not responsible if a traveller is refused boarding or entry for want of them.
Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in our quotes. We strongly recommend it, particularly for trips abroad, adventure activities and travel at high altitude.
Safety and conduct
Please follow the instructions of guides, drivers and operators. Water sports, trekking, desert activities and high-altitude travel carry real risk. Tell us about any medical condition that affects what you can do, so that we plan around it.
Liability
We choose suppliers with care and arrange what we have agreed to arrange. We are not liable for loss, injury, delay or extra cost caused by a supplier, by a traveller, or by events nobody controls, such as weather, natural events, strikes, civil unrest, epidemics, government action or transport disruption. Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the part of the trip affected. Nothing here limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Complaints
Tell us as soon as a problem happens, so that we can put it right while you are still travelling. After the trip, write to us with the details and we will reply in writing.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without affecting any right you have under consumer protection law to bring a complaint elsewhere.
