How to cancel
Cancellations must reach us in writing. A WhatsApp message to your travel expert is enough. The date we receive it is the date the cancellation takes effect.
Cancellation charges
Charges depend on how far ahead of departure you cancel and on what the hotels, airlines and operators in your itinerary allow. They are the amounts those suppliers charge, and the scale that applies to your booking is set out in your quote before you pay. When you cancel, we tell you the exact amount in writing before anything is deducted.
Non-refundable components
Some fares, peak-season rates and promotional hotel rates are non-refundable from the moment they are confirmed. These are identified in your quote before you pay.
Refunds
Whatever is refundable goes back to the account or card you paid from, once the suppliers have refunded us. We tell you what each supplier has said and when to expect the money, and we pass on a delayed refund as soon as it reaches us.
Unused services
Services you do not use once travel has begun, such as a missed flight or a night you skip, are not refundable unless the supplier agrees to refund them.
Date changes
Where a supplier permits it, moving your dates is usually cheaper than cancelling. Ask us before you cancel.
Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel a booking for a reason within our control, we refund in full what you paid for the cancelled services, or move you to an alternative of the same standard if you prefer.
Circumstances beyond control
Weather, natural events, strikes, civil unrest and government restrictions can force changes we cannot control. Where a supplier refunds or credits us in these cases, we pass on whatever it passes to us.
