How My Tour Planners collects, uses and stores the information you share when you enquire about a trip.
Who we are
My Tour Planners is the trade name of Monika Verma (sole proprietorship). GSTIN 07BBMPV5005J1ZB. We decide why and how your personal data is used, which makes us the data fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
When you message us on WhatsApp, use the trip planner or fill in the enquiry or callback form, we receive what you choose to send: your name, phone number, destination, travel month, group size, budget and any notes. If you call or email, we receive your number or address and what you tell us. To confirm a booking we also need each traveller’s name as it appears on their passport or photo ID, and, where an airline, hotel or visa requires it, dates of birth and passport or ID details. When you visit the site we record page views and button clicks, and the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from (utm_*, gclid and fbclid), so we can tell which advertisement led to an enquiry.
How we use it
To prepare your itinerary and quote, to book and manage your trip, to stay in contact while you travel, to keep accounts and meet our tax obligations, and to understand which pages and advertisements lead to enquiries. We do not sell personal data.
WhatsApp and the forms
The WhatsApp buttons open WhatsApp with a message already written. Nothing is sent until you press send, and from then on the conversation is also covered by WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. The enquiry and callback forms either open WhatsApp in the same way or send your details to us through our form service. Either way we receive only what you typed.
Who we share it with
Only as far as is needed to do what you asked: hotels, airlines, railways, cruise lines, transport operators and local guides, any visa or insurance provider you ask us to deal with, and the banks and payment providers that handle your payment. They receive the traveller details they need to confirm your booking. Some are outside India, for example an overseas hotel. We also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies, analytics and fonts
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser. It loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. Where we switch on Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or an advertising pixel such as Meta Pixel, those providers set their own cookies and receive information about your visit under their own policies. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work.
How long we keep it
Enquiry details are kept while we are planning your trip and for a reasonable time afterwards, in case you come back to it. Booking and billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. You can ask us to delete an enquiry that did not become a booking at any time.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw any consent you gave us. These follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Write to us at the contact below. We will answer, and put right anything we got wrong.
Keeping your details safe
We limit who sees your details. Please do not send card numbers, PINs or one-time passwords by WhatsApp, email or the forms. We do not need them to plan a trip.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the foot shows the latest version.
